If so, can you kick them in the face next time you see them.

Not because they've done anything wrong. Just because they work for the most frustratingly-annoying company to ever grace our shores.

All I need to do is get a static IP sorted for my ADSL2 and I'm on my second attempt for the day, with a total of just over 100 minutes of phone time.

Jeremy, Adel, Kylie & the 2 Indian-sounding ladies (particularly the one with the mumbling problem), you should all realise the pain you're inflicting on people and get out there by changing 'careers'. Oh and to Anne (my current phone friend), you're a rude mole and need to relax a bit.

Ah I feel sorry for you. If you need a static IP find a new ISP (I suggest Internode, they tend to be more geek oriented and can do :kissmy: like that).

Optus only like the Mum and Dad subscribers which means that they provide a connection that's it. Anything more fancy and they don't support it...

I once had a Optus "sales person" cold call me, after messing with her mind (yes I was bored) and explaining to her some of the finer details about the TCP/IP protocol she leveled with me and suggested I stick with Internode... (great sales person)
