When I release the clutch when taking off from a standing start I get a noise for about 1-2 seconds when the clutch is engauging. Perfect any other time with no slipping. Is this type of noise something that can be fixed without taking the gearbox out. If I takeoff reving to about 1500rpm and smoothly theres no noise, however increase the revs to 2000 or on a hill start and the noise is there. I do not think its the thrust bearing as the noise is not so high pitched. The clutch has not had a hard life..stock XR6T which I think I've driven OK6 speed BF mkIIcheersrob Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43704-clutch-noise-in-std-xr6t-mkii/ Share on other sites
