Hi all.

I have a BF MK1 XR6 Turbo. As soon as I bought it I put aftermarket 19's on it. My first rear tyres lasted 9000km. I dont do skids but I do drive it hard. My local brake and suspension shop said that there is a little bit of adjustment in the upper control arms to try and straighten the camber of the rear wheels a little to help wear.

After putting it over the pit they realised it had no camber adjustment and were dumb founded. Took the car to pedders and they said that's impossible... until they put it on one of their ramps and found the same thing. No adjustment.

We rung ford with the vin number and they said some cars came with rear camber adjustment and others without.

Wondering how everyone here has gone with lowering their cars and trying to keep away from negative camber in the rear end.

My car isnt even lowered yet and I'm worried that when I do it will only be running on the inside 3 inchs of tyre like a bloody IRS commodore.

I'm pretty sure you can buy a camber kit to help with this problem, but don't worry the falcons are nowhere near as bad as the commodores no matter how low you go..... I had a n/a ba with 19's and pretty low, and that use to chew tyres, but having said that I do wear VERY heavy boots... :surrenderwave:

Thanks for all your help guys.

The fellas at pedders told me there was no kits available but after some research k-mac do do one for about $240rrp. Nolothane, which make pedders urathane bushes, also do a kit that retails for about $120. The nolothane kit allows +/- 1 degree of adjustment and the k-mac one is supposd to be +/- 1.5 to 2 degrees.

Thanks again for all your help
