hey guys I just found out my nokia n95 8gb has an accelerometer in it....same thing that the new iphone has where the phone can sense movement so you can change the track you are listening to by tilting the fone to the right or pause it by shaking the fone etc....it also means the fone can measure the force put on it so wouldnt it be cool if someone made a program for it that would allow you to measure 0-100km and 1/4mile times? or have they already made one??

Bloody Hell. I'm still trying to figure out to work the camera on mine, let alone any accelerometer. I did get a $700 bill from Vodaphone for unknowlingly being hooked up to the internet for 21 hours. Put the whole overcomplicated thing back in it's box and went back to the trusty old 4 year old job with just a basic camera, text, accelerator, and brake Bluetooth, infra red and all that stuff. I have a cupboard full of expensive electronic gizmos I can't figure out. If I could I'd upload some photos from my 4k camera that the site lkeeps telling me are too big a files to upload, wasted 6 hours trying to figure out how to shrink them, then gave up. I guess technologically I am just 100% pure idiot :bangcomputer: Although I can text, hook up to the net and send an email. :innocent:

I like the way you can program the buttons to suit your own needs.

The camera is operated just by pushing and holding 1 of the side buttons which is great because you don't have to fumble through menus.

I had an E51 before this phone and it no way stacks up to the E95. Chalk and cheese.

The main criteria I had in mind when buying is that it had to have a PC suite that had PC texting so I can cheaply contact my drivers. It works well.

The only thing I don't like is when you (by mistake) press 1 of the side buttons while your on the phone and it beeps loudly every time you do.

Other than that, a good phone.

Cheers

Ironically, that's exactly what sh*ts me about the N95. That camera button is right where the inside of your thumb sits when holding it. The amount of times its opened the camera application half way through me typing the worlds longest text message....

And the fact that its slower to open applications than an old Late model camira 64.

And the fact that its built to be as robust as a feather. Ive been through three already because those damn buttons on the side keep busting.

I complain a lot, but the web browser is awesome as is the camera.
