I personally cant see how passenger jets can bring down whole buildings the size of the world trade centre. They would do damage and cause a fire to the building but to make it collapse in such a short time and so suddenly I cant see that happening and if the jets really did bring down the twin towers how did the building next to them collapse too? I believe the buildings were brought down from inside using a s#@t load of explosives and the planes were just a diversion.

Ever seen how much explosives it takes to bring down a normal sized building, precision work at it's best. You dont randomly slap a few sticks of dynamite in there and the whole show falls over, it takes months to plan something like this probally a year with buildings so large. A large percentage of the structure is normally removed to aid in the collapse. The biggest factor in the trade center collapse was the burning jet fuel & the design of the structure itself.

As to why it happened, we'll never know. Plenty of good ideas why it happened, other than being a true terrorist attack the yanks doing it themself to prop up their slowing econemy to stop or prevent what has happened in the last 12 months sounds like one of the most likely secenarios.

From the 12th Century right up until the 17th Century the English were a ruthless murderous bunch of cowards hell bent on ruling the world. What they have done to the Irish people from then right up until now not to mention the Scottish and the Welsh just to name a few makes me sick.

its the same with the aboriginals, you hear the stories of how the aboriginies were murdered by the brits etc. but what you dont hear is how they actually tried to school as many aboriginals as they could, to make them get ahead like the rest of the whites (as were still trying to do today).

and you can have a go at the irish thing all you want at the end of the day King henry the 8th might have been ruthless, but he educated to us just how easily a religion could be formed, and showed us that the world doesnt have to be ruled by church groups, the irish thing was about allowing religious freedom in ireland, which to this day doesnt exsist (ive lived there) your either a catholic, or you live in the north or the uk. theres no other religion but catholic in ireland, ive never seen a place like it, and its so backward, you drive over the border in ireland, and its like going crossing from inverell to sydney.

We give them evrything on a plate & they destroy it and demand more, if it wasn't for the white man they'd still be chasing skippy hopeing to catch a feed. They are still a centuary or 2 behind normal society but have no reason to be, people in the middle east, africa & certain parts of asia live the same way but havent been introduced to our way of life as yet. THose who have (IE China) have welcomed it with open arms.

Those few of you who have served or been contracted to such places will know exaclty what im talking about, the people who are in controll & are supposed to be there to help are the ones holding them back & doing the most damage.

The cold hard facts are that throughout history the "Brits" have had a good crack at invading and conquering almost everyone in one way or another.

Yes, little help indeed....lets look at WW2. Close to home the "Brits" couldnt hold the impregnable fortress of Singapore, and had no means to fight the Japs whatsover...read about the HMS Prince of Wales.

In Europe, Britain is to be commended for its stand against fascism, and for a couple of years it is true that it held out alone. WITH ITS COMMONWEALTH....without its commonwealth the Brits had no means to continue the war, and without American materiel they would have further struggled.

Its a good thing the Yanks did enter the war or operation overlord would have never happened. Further, the whole of Asia would have been lost to the Japanese.

Oh - and you might want to read about the Western Front.....you will learn that Russia carried a very, very heavy burden against Germany and if it werent for this second front the outcome of the entire war may have been very different indeed.

Its fashionable to be anti american these days, but I can tell you in WW2 we were very happy to have them on our side.
