You think that the serviice of your family 65+ years ago means that you have a clue about current military matters. Give me a break........ha farkin ha. Re your comical USA invasion scenario.PS. I also have service in my families history, however wouldnt presume to claim that their service made me an expert on the subject.I dont think im an expert, far from it, I just take an interest in the subject. I have no military experience (hence 90% of my family is dead because of military experience)so I dont plan on having any in the near future. "you know there was a time around here when I was almost as arrogant as you" appliesanybody know the movie that's from ? They got out fast because the italian tanks had 5 gears in reverse I think you'll find WW1 and WW2 had very strong ties with religion. If you look at which countries were neutral in the war, ireland is a good example, a huge catholic population, of course there not going to be fighting with the germans because they would have had the sh*t bombed out of them, but they can remain neutral, and feed intelligence back to germany, which is exactly what happened.an excellent example of why a little knowledge and a furtive imagination is dangerous.1. The current pope is German. As a teenager the Pope was a member of Hitler Jugend (youth) as was compulsory for all German boys. Neither he nor his family were members of the NSDAP (Nazi party)2. Ireland feigned Neutrality but in reality supported the Axis.......why? so they could be free of British rule. It is a shameful indictment on Ireland. Simple as that. Simple as that.britain shaped the modern world, including the U.S.A. colonised australia and a whole lot of the rest of the world, and if it werent for the brits youd be speaking german right now.The kiwis managed to fight off the Brits with a few spears, what the hell was wrong with the irish??? short arse little sh*ts.what do we owe the irish? a few spuds and a stupid church that's 50 years behind everybody else?
