I remember seeing this in the flesh last year and loved it then. I do agree with the others though that larger rims would have been better though.

Agreed that 22" rims would have been nice.

Couple of reasons that we didn't finish up going down that path:

I) DSC problems:- can't get 22" tyres that are the same diameter as the originals

ii) Front end vibration problems:- Checked out the history of the only TTG fitted with 22" rims with 265/35/22 tyres that I was able to find early last year. Car went to several suspension shop to try and fix vibration/steering problems apparently caused by the 22" rims which visually appered to be the correct offset. Car ultimately got traded

iii) Ride quality:- My wife drives the car most of the time and didn't want it too far removed from standard ride. I.e. wasn't that impressed with my last couple of cars fitted with +4" wheel/tyre-licorice strip combinations.

I think 20"s are a good trade off between looks, handling and comfort.

Sitting a few inches lower would set it off and make the rims look bigger by filling the guards.

Well finally got around to lowering the TTG.

Huge improvement in the way the car rides and handles.

Has gone from feeiling like a top heavy "big" SUV to a much "smaller" station wagon.

It does look a lot better lowered. I also have TTG with 20's and like the look of yours lowered however I have some reservations about wheel alignment and uneven tyre wear. Would be interested to see how yours goes over time.

Shouldn't have any problems with tyre wear.

Front end was shimmed up and visually looks to have same camber as before being lowered.

There is a little more negative camber on the rear.

Does turn into corners soooooo much better.
