ESP tuned? I was going to go to sydney for my tune but I heard a few good things about ESP in Queanbeyan. How do you rate them?

It recently ran an 11.1 at SID.Being mates with the ESP boys, I'd say my feedback may be biased, but their results speak for themselves. Glen tuned my 06 BF XR6T and managed 317rwkw's @ 13psi (mods included: match flowed 60lbs DEKA injectors, Walbro GSS341 pump, and Plazmaman Pro Series Core 1000hp Intercooler with hot and cold side piping). While I am happy with it at the moment, I will be looking to add an X-force system and wastegate mods in the not too distant future; in the hope of achieving 500rwhp.This is my beast: Edited 19/04/13 12:22 PM by Dagabond

I was going for cat, 60lb dekkas, PW stepped cooler and piping and maybe turbo side intake with battery relo if I get one cheap enough and hoping for about 310rwkw in my FG. Did they use vcm on your car or did you use the xcal?Trying to toss up whether to get a vcm for now stock and then get an xcal for one I get my mods. How do they go price wise? I'm staying away from Gentech just for the reason that its cheaper to go to sydney then go to the boys there lolPs nice ride. Vertini hennesey's? My understanding is ESP primarily use the SCT Flash tuner boxes over the VCM Suite.Price wise, the Xcal 3 (supplied by ESP) was $750, my original tune was $500 and a later ZF tune was $300.But, I would give them a call to confirm a quote for works.Yeah, the rims are Vertini Hennessy (Ozzy Tyres) - staggered fit with 245/30/20's Front and 275/25/20's on the rear. I bet you need the wider wheels for the power! What tyres did you go with? Do you get good grip with only a 25 profile on the rear? Given I have an FG I have a bit more room for more profile

I have used it a couple of times while I've been out of town for work, and in some instances I get an instant response and on another occasions I have waited 10 days. If you haven't heard from them by COB tomorrow, I'd say give em a call. With the regards to the rears, they are Hankooks. As you can imagine the compound is quite hard, which has helped them last 20,000kms over the past three years, but they are not much chop when it comes to traction, after a good stab of the throttle. I've read guys getting those kind of kms with Nitto Invo's (although in 275 your talking $450 a pop). I been looking at tyres so I can decide whether I can afford new wheels. Falken 452's from saveontyres.com.au in 275/35r20 are $280 each or achilles atr sport 275/30r20 from thewheeldeal.com for $160 each.I have the achilles on the front and I rate them good for that, yet to put them on the rear. Sounds like either of these might be worth a shot because like even if the achilles have the same amount of grip at least they'll be a lot cheaper than Hankook's. Yea I might give them a call 2moro n have a quick chat

I must admit I am considering replacing them with Falken 452's or Federal 595 Evo's soon.$160 ea for the Achilles ATR 275/30/20's sounds cheap. I have their 245's on the fronts and paid $171.50 ea from Jax in Belco.
