But, some serious mods are going to need to be completed first, as some parts on my BF are already stretched to breaking point (ie. std. ZF box, tailshaft, injectors etc.) Another notion, could be to run a blend of 98RON and Eflex - say 40lts 98RON and 20lts eflex. Ie if I run my e85 tune and there's some 98 left in the tank the car can lean out and go boom. I'd have to bleed the tank dry to switch back to 98 to go home and it's just too much work. If anyone is interested I got a quote back from cms in Sydney today. Told them that there are a few of us in canberra looking to mod in a couple of months. They gave me some good info as well but still had a few more questions for them that I am waiting a response on. If anyone wants to know prices private message me as you all know I won't put company's prices online for everyone to see. I will say that I am impressed so far just wish I had a bit more coin lol.PM sentBack to Ethanol fuels - I'd love to run drum ethanol fuel (PowerPlus) in the future; I think pump fuel leaves a lot to be desired, with regard to its quality. Given you said you probably won't keep the car that much longer there's probably not much point spending $5k plus to go to ethanol..Theres a thread on the fordforum with a guy that had his car tuned with e48 which was a blend of e85 and 98. Can't remember his exact gains but it was pretty good. It'd be pretty hard to get the mix perfectly right every time though unless it was pre mixed in drums

The goal is to do that in the next 6 months, and then perhaps purchase a FG F6. I just won't be able to bring myself to sell, until the 10 second pass is achieved (in street spec or as close to). Whats your best time?If your going searching for a 10 then yea a built gearbox and a good stall will go a long way!

Had planned to run last October, but I had some valve float issues (now fixed) and then I thought I should upgrade the tailshaft to cope with the M/T Streets and SID grip levels. A mod I have priced up with GJ Drivelines, but have not completed to date. On paper it all looks probable, but the reality will be a test. As for the ZF, I am hoping to run a 10 with the stock box; believe me, the launch will be as soft as possible. If it goes bang, then I will have to sell my soul to Dominello Automatics. Yea with 400rwkw and grippy tyres I would put money on a broken tailshaft going for a 10.

Had a quick chat with him and looked her over. Also a couple of other BA/BF XR Falcons floating around there.
