The XR will be even more sleepy in a couple of weeks when I put some FG Honeycomb rims on it. (The missus is currently driving it a bit and I fear she will curb the 20's)I too have seen the Toxic XR8 sans spoilers, was coming off Eastern Valley Way in Belco the other day. It did have a nice exhaust note to it. I also spotted a blue Rodeo with YLD-40L plates. From memory they used to be on a Mercury BA Turbs.

I think I saw it in a video on YouTube at a skid pan day. (the toxic xr8)I really don't like the honey comb rims :/ I just don't think they suit the fgs. But to save your 20's then do it haha. I let my jum drive my car once. I now have a small gutter rash -.-

So, I'm thinking of stripping the ET Streets and fitting some Achilles for street duties. Dunno how they are gonna look on the BF, but I'd rather the car look fugly than have to spend coin fixing damaged Vertinis. With regard to your rash - Craig and co. at Wicked Wheels in Q-town do an awesome job at repairs.
Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 1m 11d Posted 03/02/13 04:07 AM Share Posted 03/02/13 04:07 AM Well feel free to organise something between yourselves in the next week or 2 and then we can do something again when I get back, or at least with whoever's free?Sorry Fryer but not a fan of Craig's work at all. I gutter rashed one of my vertini's like a week after they went on (yes it was my fault not the mrs lol) and took it too him, took ages to do it and only just got rid of the rash but can still see all the dents in the wheel from the gutter. For what I paid and the effort to go out to qbn for me I could have just got any machinist to take the wheels back a little bit and then just polish the stainless back up or even could have sanded back the rash with sand paper and polished up myself. I didn't do either of these things because I figured that's what he does for a living so leave it to the experts. Next time I'll try a different option

Things must have changed? I had some work done about two years ago, they had the (3) rims for a week and they came back looking brand new. (Polished and all)Brodburger meet/cruise - given we all lead busy lives and waiting for every single one of us to be available at the same time, being like waiting for the planets to align. How about, if we get at least four member/cars to commit to Sat'day, 23 Feb. we go ahead? Edited 03/02/13 05:30 AM by Fryer of Tyres

Craig is the only one working there too so maybe there isn't much of a market for wheel repairs so he's gone soloSat 23rd sounds good to me! Definitely wanna do something with mcinnes at some point to discuss FG mods and Gentech. But also good to get fryer's personal experience with ESP
