Cant wait to see the finished product..

I've always wanted to pull an engine apart, and putting it back together again but never got round to doing it. Think it might be because I have no idea how to do it...

$9,500 for the car

and what $20,000 worth of bits?

I'd love to do that...

(I just spent $10,000 on bits for me EVO IX to help it round the track...)

rims and tread next, the current set shouldn't last to long.... :beerchug:

Back to 'normal'

Some powder coating to go on the rocker cover, new intercooler piping and fit the remaining aesthetics to the engine bay to give it some wank factor..

Seats, harnesses, roll cage, brakes to come in the next 6 months or so..

List goes on!

Hits the track on the 6th Nov, so I'll update with a vid and more pix from that night..

Once the engine bay is up to scratch, I'll post the pix up of that too. Didn't get any of the wanky parts fitted just in case there were issues!

Parts total $9k - a bit over. (all from OS) All labour done by myself & a mate helped with a couple of bits, except fitting of LSD's, which cost $400 for gearbox & diff. All up bargain..

Will keep it updated..

Cheers.

so $18,000

That's an absolute bargain for what you've finished up with!

I love this thread...
