more updates as they happen please!!

any reason for the 39th tour de corse livery? considering tommi finished 8th that rally.

not being a rally nerd, least its a tarmac event, just always a reason behind things, first tarmac rally for the evoiii perhaps? the sticker work is awesome regardless, who done it btw? im hoping to do the same with one of my subaru's of the same vintage, 1995, but sainz 1REP555 cataluyna spec.

on turbo selection, let me introduce you to these guys.

Cheers - Yeah very happy with the overall look.... The sticker job was done in a very small number in Japan.. Makinen finished down the list a little but one of his first Rallies in the III, I think?

Cheers for the link - Manifolds look good.... The twin scrolls usually get fitted the the newer models as their wheels spin the other way, unlike the earlier models.

Looking at a Garrett hybrid (Mistu housing) FP3052 from Forced Performance. Nice turb..

Guys are making decent power and torque very early in the rev range. ( 400HP at all 4 by 4000rpm.. ) on those with the 2.3.

All the engine parts are at the machinist now, awaiting delivery back next week. Mic everything and back together...

Looking at offloading the Haltech as an option and going Vi-Pec ( www.vi-pec.com ) Ex Autronic engineer went out on his own and his new unit looks the goods, getting great results and the guys using it on evo's are very happy.. PnP board too..

Photos should flow in the next couple of weeks. :)

Also got the HKS 'fine tune' timing belt, await delivery of HKS fuel rail from HKS.

Pick up the block and head from the machinist soon as she's ready to go.. :innocent:

Block has been Torque Plate / Plateau Honed (crank cradle and a torque plate in place, torqued up & then plateau honed to spec)

Head was serviced and had new valve stem seals & K-liners fitted (Bronze valve guides)

Will start to assemble the engine this weekend, hope to have the LSD's installed in the gearbox / diff in the next 2 weeks then put her all back together..

Ahh, good old Japanese Mission Statements! I found a ton of those when in Japan - Tsukuba Circuit for example "Get To The Win!" :innocent:

That thing is gonna be a little hand grenade when its done mate!
