Hi Guys

I am looking at upgrading the clutch in my BATurbo (T5). I am situated in Brisbane. Can anyone recommend a local workshop that can supply and install for me.

Cheers

Malwoods in Brissy I think, he's a site sponser that knows his sh*t when it comes to gearbox's and clutches.

Not sure what he has for the T5 as it will probably break with too much power put through it no matter what clutch you got.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys.

I have been running just over 300rwkws for 30000km with no issues.

On a cold night I will get some clutch slip. I am just wanting to upgrade to a slightly better organic clutch.

Cheers

Get on to Mal Wood, his username on here is 6speedXR8. Even if the trip to Warwick is a concern he'll be able to point you in the right direction :omg:

Hi mate,

I have a T5 also and I have been running 252rwkw for some time now.

First id like to ask how the hell did your standard clutch last this long with 300rwkw. Mine died after 8 weeks.

I now run a Mal Wood Option 1 clutch and it is great for my power level however I dont think it will take any more.

Organic wise I dont think you will be able to get one to fit in the T5 bell housing as Mal has a 11" but its for a speed only.

Best bet is to talk to him as he is a wealth of knowledge.

BTW, I used to run a cerametalic before and what a big mistake. Not very drivable.

There is always a twin plate that will fit. Its called a Wog Clutch and is well priced. A few peopl have them a are having good results.

Cheers

Adrian
