Cost is about $600-$1000 for "Custom" Tuning depending on the Tuner, and that pricing is after you've purchased a C.A.P.A Box.

Whats the average price of a custom tune?

And I've heard the BA 4 Speed Auto's crap out around 250rwkw's? Or am I hearing story's?

I've been running the stock 4 speed (no cooler) with more than stock power since January. 315+ rwkw for last 3 months, and 350+rwkw for the last 4 weeks and I give it stick most of the time. A good tuner will also modify the way the auto behaves which will prolong the life of the auto too. A tune that comes on very hard is nice for street but will also put more strain on the auto. Grip and axle tramp will kill them more quickly. Dragging will transfer a lot more strain to the drive-line as the track, burnout and the use of semi and full slicks will introduce a lot more grip than typically found in a street situation.

Custom tuning is generally between $600 and $1200.

Nizpro said to me that the 4 speed auto is all about the tune aswell and that shouldn't need to do an auto rebuild and if I do they will let me know :P

(I was considering getting an auto rebuild once I fitted all my new gear n such)
