What do you guys think?Bob Jane quoted me $2300 for 4x with Medium-High end tyres they claim they get really cheap because they buy in bulk. I've forgotten the name sorry. Also my uncle has a BA Territory and mentioned that he might be interested in buying my current wheels when I upgrade (with the right tyres of course). The two of the rims have not-to-noticeable gutter bite marks, one from previous owner and one from me on an early monday morning. How much do you think I could sell these for without tyres? My T is a Bionic Blue Sedan as in the picture to the left. I have the standard brakes but I've painted the Calipers bright Red.All opinions much appreciated.Sorry I couldn't glue the wheel pic on my car, I don't have a good side on pic with the painted calipers and my photo shop skills are dismal at best Edited 11/03/08 03:40 AM by Locky28 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43479-considering-new-wheels/ Share on other sites

Just make sure you do a fair bit of looking around, there are hundreds of wheels out there! The choice of wheels hurts my head but unless these look crap when I put them up to my T as you said then I think these will be the winners. I saw a White Mitsubishi Mirage with these on in a 17" flavor and they looked great, they can only get better with size I imagine Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43479-considering-new-wheels/#findComment-644500 Share on other sites

Posted 11/03/08 04:09 AM Share Posted 11/03/08 04:09 AM Those wheels are getting around, my missus has them in 17"s on a barina and it does look good but in the recent months I've been seeing them more and more on other cars.I dunno what they would look like on a big car like the falcon but they suit the smaller cars. ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 3m 14d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 11/03/08 06:17 AM Share Posted 11/03/08 06:17 AM I do not think you can legally fit the XR wheels to the Terri as they do not have the rigth load rating.I was looking to fit 19" FPV wheels and they do not have the required load rating, so I doubt the XR wheels will.As for the wheels you have chosen, they are a bit common. Though I'm not really fussed on having different wheels to everyone else I just want mine to look good.Anyone got any recommendations for wheels? Something they've seen recently and liked? Also has anyone got an idea on what I could sell my current 17's for? I have them on my 19's from bob jane. so far a good tyre, holding up well on 260rwkw. only slight squeel every now and then when booting it and changing gears (hard shifts on the auto). would I buy them again? maybe, depending on the price I wanted to try some kuhmo KU31s as they are supposed to be quite a good tyre too.good luck if you do buy them, I think they would look awesome on a blue TRhys Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43479-considering-new-wheels/#findComment-645034 Share on other sites
