I've done a bunch of incar footage from race days in various cars. I use a manfrotto unit. It's a suction cup window mount. Works fantastically inside and outside the car (awesome for 'chase' footage) It was about $150 BUT I've had it for a few years and it works flawlessly with little to no movement, solid as a rock.

We're actually looking at a unit like this. Does anyone know anywhere in Aus that supplies them?

filmtools.com has everything but shipping is extreme, $250 for a $90 item!

I can get a hold of manfrotto gear through my work, good guys in Perth, so possibly through your local GG's via a supplier called Adeal http://www.adeal.com.au/ (not sure if they all get gear through them though). I'd be happy to look into it for you guys if you wish.

I'll see if I can get them and how much etc tomorrow and post it up if I dont forget.

(let's all remember that dan doesnt work fridays, so he may have a few brews and forget, so PM me if I do!!!)

Cheers

Dan
