I had the two bonnets open last night and was staring at my Cusco strut brace on the Euro and wondered if anyone had attempted to wedge a strut brace in an XR6/F6? Or do they have any sort of stock strut brace? (Please, forgive my ignorance) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43394-strut-brace/ Share on other sites

Posted 09/03/08 01:51 AM Share Posted 09/03/08 01:51 AM basically our cars are stiff enough in the front end to not need one...And it would be pretty hard to fit one with the computer and overflow bottle where they are... I'd love to have one, but I think the bigger sway bars can give you a similar effect Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43394-strut-brace/#findComment-643586 Share on other sites

I'd imagine it would make it a lot stiffer. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43394-strut-brace/#findComment-643604 Share on other sites

I am booked in for the control arm bushes next Thursday so I might just as well do the bloody wheel bearings with something of quality while they are at it. The Amex will get a belting me thinks Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43394-strut-brace/#findComment-649240 Share on other sites
