Your friend needs to be able to recycle the waste water with a vaccum/filtration system which is how the car wash industry has managed to clean up (pardon the pun) during these water crisis times.

Being able to place the bin inside of the trailer would make it even more simple. Simply connect the pump inlet to a modified sump system run it thru a mesh screen then your filter at which time he can add a detergent/deodorant and then no waste water. He may also be able to replace broken lids/wheels if he gets on board with council and the bin manufacturer for some extra $$$.

Councils are loving a company that can operate with recycled water.

Nathan trailers now offer a moulded plastic 6x4 trailer which would remove the water = corrosion that plagues trailer set-up's such as this

Instill Fear, it's a great seller.

I suggest getting today-tonight or some such other paragon of journalistic integrity to go and take swabs from the wheelie bins

(No great leap for Today-tonight, they've already swabbed door knobs, escalator hand-rails, kitchen benches...even shopping trollies..

No matter that every surface on this planet is teeming with Ecoli ect ect... facts are irrelivant.)

Then go find a pathology lab employee to rattle off all the the nasty diseases that are living in there,

this should be easy path-lab employees are paid cr@p wages, just make sure they're wearing their white coat...

Get your mate to add a dash of detol and instead of calling it "cleaning" call it "sanitizing"

Then run a Fear based add campaign about how if Ya don't get your bin "sanitized" your exposing your children to

infection by fatal diseases... I.e If you loved your children you'd get the bin "sanitized" it's only $15

This little plan shouldn't cost your mate more than $5000 for advertising, heck, may even get some free advertising on today tonight if he appears as an "Expert" all worried about the poor kids he's trying to save by "sanitizing" the wheelie bins.

Thanks guys. The unit he is looking at is totally enclosed and has a 4 step filtration system including ozone and UV. It has a 600lt water carrying cap and can clean 4000 bins befor changing the water. I will pass on the info about the lids and wheel replacement, that's a great idea.
