He is thinking about setting up a small business cleaning wheelie bins in NSW. He will be buying a small trailer that is completely self automated and does all the cleaning for you. Its very water efficient and environmentally friendly. He will come around on the day your bin is emptied and clean it.I just wanted to find out if anyone on here would be interested, how much would be a good price and how often you would want it done. I know this has nothing to do with the XR6T but we both own them so help us out I personally think its a great idea because my bins stink and I'm too lazy to clean them my self Let me know what you think. Thanks Edited 07/03/08 03:18 PM by IEATV8S

I'm in the industry and dont really see it taking off unless he's going to concentrate on the eastern suburbs where they are prepared to pay a decent price

They have been around since 2001 and they also franchise. They look after commercial and domestic. Green Clean also does it and has a franchise as well. Then there is Jim's Bin cleaning, Wheelie Clean and quite a few others, so it is well covered in the Sydney area. You did not mention what part of NSW, so country new south might be a different story. However I don’t think the demand would be there. I have used OZ for sometime and they offer great service and good prices.Cheers,Trish.

He has looked into the area and there is no one offering wheelie bin cleaning. Also the area has a high population for a country town. He was thinking of $10-$12 for the main 240lt bin and $5-$8 for the smaller 120ltr bin. They also have a green waste bin each house has 3 bins. With water restrictions being very tight over there they are not allowed to just hose the bins out and you cant kill the bacteria with a hose . Also hosing a bin out and tipping the water down a drain is illegal as the water is then considered polluted apparently. He is going to arrange meetings with the councel, schools, nursing homes, the local hospital to try and get regular contracts. Thanks for your input so far guys. And also when your 8 hrs away from the bin, it's a little cheaper to pay someone else to clean it. Edited 08/03/08 01:47 AM by Trish
