Is everything other than the rotors and calipers the same throughout all model ranges BA/BF?For example is the master cylinder on a BA Xr8 the same as what is on a BFMk2 Typhoon? KryZak Member 91 Member For: 17y 7m 6d Gender: Male Location: Perth, WA Posted 11/03/08 01:46 PM Share Posted 11/03/08 01:46 PM that's good news. I was researching putting them (or AP Racing or similar brakes) on my BF2 'T', and was told that the master cylinder needed ugrading to handle to extra fluid volume and then I would have brake balance problems, because the front brakes will get less pressure because of the greater fluid volume compared to the back or some sh*t. I ended up thinking it was too difficult and never looked any further into it.Has anyone actually done it? I would be interested to hear their thoughts or look at their build thread... Every thing is fine. I called the tech department at PBR and he said all master cylinders are different, but it is only the crack pressure. ( the timing of, and, pressure between front and rear)

To date no issues at all, I know atleast 5 of the guys regularly track their cars without an issue. Edited 11/03/08 08:18 PM by _XRQTOR_
