Does anyone know how you convert Rear Wheel Kilowatts into Horse Power?

What is 326rwkw in HP. Some of the old boys at work ask me and I haven't got a clue.

Thanks for your help in advance.

note though that you will be converting to rwhp not bhp (brake horse power) which is an engine figure as opposed to wheel figure.

AND, as a general rule, your rwhp number is pretty close to your engine KW figure.

400 rwhp = ~400 KW at the engine.

(Again, rule of thumb; that thumb being cocked 30 degrees as you hold a stubby in the other hand )

So going by what has been said....

If I have 326 RWKW multiply that by 1.3 = 423 rwhp

Then if 423 rwhp = roughly 420 engine KW

Does that mean then 420 EKW equals about 540 ish BHP?

This looks like a maths lesson here.
