Do you think Ford will bring out the new GTHO? Im sure it would be an absolute beast... or even a new Cobra design would be awesome..

I think if they didn't originally have it planned, it would definately be in the pipe-line now. The 'GT' didn't really live up to the hype in term's of power...not when Expensive Daewoo bring out that stupid '427' thing and what-not. I think Ford would be too stupid not to bring it out.

A GTHO perhaps with a blown engine would be great, but what l would really love to see is an FPV version of the turbo 6 making 300kw. That would instantly make every V8 Expensive Daewoo make redundant.

Now that would be awesome, and probably not too hard to acheive. :)

With 2 kids and a wife that has BANNED 2 door cars (I was considering a Monaro for a while, then I saw the light), I'm in the same boat as you....but I still want to SEE 2 doors on a Falcon. It would be awsome :D

GT is far from a disappointment for me. Find me another ~300kW (290kW is understated, trust me), performance sedan with the looks, handling, and overall competency of the GT for around $60k!

As for GTHO, just with the GT and XR6T, you can expect FPV / Ford to deny everything to do with them, until they spring it out at a motor show or the like. They are playing things VERY close to their chests with BA - very annoying for us fans, but probably very necessary for their business strategy.

Looking at the specs on the GT, there would have to be some changes to the internals for a blown version. The compression ratio is too high with the cam package in the GT - the XR8 is more suited to forced induction, in this respect. I suspect the biggest issue with supercharging the Boss engines will be packaging. Have a look at the upper intake manifold of the Boss - there is a huge amount of room between it and the heads - they may be able to develop a screw-type blower that mounts in place of the upper intake manifold! Something like this perhaps...
