As in registered in the dealerships name and then transferred to you?(hypnodoc doesn't need to answer, he buys too many cars as it is!)

FPV aren't giving that much of a rebate to the dealerships.

FPV do not support NFP. However a dealer is likely to really look after a company that buys hundreds of cars from them Edited 08/03/08 10:56 PM by senna_T

Did FPV send out a memo with the rebate? Do you remember when this came out? This rebate is always applicable. The bigger factory bonus was introduced at the start of Feburary. Most of the time we won't know there is a bonus until it is announced - we have no prior warning. So sometimes unfortunately we can haggle with a customer for an hour, finally sell him the car then find out two days later that there is now a bonus on that type of vehicle. Just the way it goes. My Rspec was sold to me as a new unregistered car. The car actually had to come from an interstate dealer somewhere. When I picked it up the car had 75kms on it which I thought was a bit high. The car did come from another dealer and it had to be taken to get the window tint done once it got here also it is a september (I think) build and I didn't purchase it until february so I guess it is possible that these amount of kilometres were ok for a new car. Do you know if there is a way to find out through FPV or something?

Our road tests before delivery are about 5kms and alot of the cars come in with a few kms on them after Q.C. road tests at the factory. 75 is a little high, but its pretty common for most of the cars I deliver to have around 40kms if they have been in stock for a while

Say if it had your average of 40kms on it at the other dealer interstate then it has really only been driven another 35kms while getting it to and from transport companies to get it to SA and then window tinting and my dealers testing / pre-delivery etc. I have only driven it a few times and it is already over 1500kms now anyway. Cheers.
