Posted 14/04/08 05:59 AM Share Posted 14/04/08 05:59 AM Hey all thanks for the cruise yesterday,A bit long I think (mainly due to the stops in between the driving) but all round it was a good map. By the time we got back home we had done just under 300km's, 7 hours out of home and just over half a tank of fuel.mental note: dont pull over and go to the toilet in the middle of a cruise. Took us half an hour to catch you guys!! It was interesting fanging through Mayo Rd by myself how did everyone else go through there? Some twisty and slow spots that's for sure...caught everyone as you were lining up to turn onto Great Eastern Highway.Only suggestion is...and please dont kill me....but it was a little too fast lol. Sometimes we weren't sure if it was a cruise or a race lol. I'm only 25 and I'm keen for a squirt of the throttle here and there but I dunno...Anyway we did thoroughly enjoy meeting everyone; the people we spoke to were very friendly and we look forward to coming to the next one,Thanks XR06T for working to put this one together with the last person..can't remember his name...so many names in my head...you will all need to give me your names again next time lolCheers!!Tp.s I could be wrong but I didn't see xrstiffed on the Zig-Zag? Maybe I was focusing too much on not rolling heh,You actually managed to catch up!? you were still having a toilet break at the same spot we were when we left! we must have got lost or gone the wrong way I rekon, some of those roads in the twisties were really poorly signed. Was good to meet up with everyone again but I was KO'd from the night before and was being a little anti-social. Good to see so many modded cars now! Youngy and I were talking about the transformation to so many cars over the last few years! IEATV8's your T is looking mint, wheels and brakes look great! Same with yours aaron just needs some whopper stoppers now!Thanks man. Glad to see the turbo fan club getting bigger. Spoke to a XR8 with boss 300 on the bonnet at Joondalup he was interested in tagging along but was off to the footy. I for one wouldn't mind having a few 8's in the group.
