Loose turbo nuts

Don't know if anyone has yet suggested this as I have not read this tread through.

Why not just use bolts instead.

Drill hole through head perpendicular to shank and use lock wire to keep them

Tight.

You just need to wire them correctly for it to work, bit hard to explain without a diagram

So if anyone really wants to know how to, pm me a email address and I will email you a diagram.

Another option is to multi drill the nut and stud and use a cotter pin.

As per old ball joints and stub axle nut retaining etc.

Both of these are cheap options with the 1st bolt setup being the easiest and the 2nd needing to be precisely so holes align for pin.

"What's an extension shaft with a slight wiggle on the end look like?"

They're called a wobble extension,here's a pic http://sidchrome.com...es/AP/254_2.JPG

Notice that the drive end is not square. It gives you a bit of movement and are a very handy tool.

Do it properly the first time and you won't have to worry about it ever again. Buy some Atomic Anchorlox and a flange gasket (as the T's don't come standard with a gasket!), take the turbo out and torque the studs up properly.

This way you will not ever have to worry about these bolts coming undone.
