OK Old thread I know but saves making a new one, had one of the turbine housing to turbo core bolt loosen again to and fall out completely somewhere on the way home today, can someone tell me the bolt size so I can go grab a new one tomorrow, going to give these nord lock washers a shot too although it only seems to be one bolt that comes loose.

Thanks

Usually turbo bolts falling out of the housing is due to small cracks forming. You can replace the bolt, but it will eventually fall out too. I believe the only fix is a new housing?

This is what I have read, if I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me real quick.

I have the bolts holding the exhaust housing to the turbo core loose as well. One nearly out, except it is hitting on the banjo bolt in the oil line. Will have a look at the rest this week.

Not a 5 minute job unfortunately, but has to be done.

According to the post in the link below, Nordlock does not work.

Now I'm thinking Atomic. Has anyone used these? If so, how are they? How many km's have you done with them?

Can somone please provide pictures and Torque requirments for the following bolts (I need to know what I'm looking at!):

* Manifold to Turbo bolts

* Turbo to Dump bolts

* Manifold to Head bolts (I know these are the 12 bolts but require torque settings please)

Anyone know the part number required to fit Atomic's?

Thanks

By what I've been told, if the car is tuned with them loose and then you tighten them, Yeahaa...

Otherwise I'd expect the car to be worse as far as boost goes so no pinging

By the way, replaceing the 2 front ones top and bottom might be a bit difficult, top one has a water line in the way, the bottom one, you need a 4" extension shaft with a slight wiggle on the end (a uni wont fit in there).

What's an extension shaft with a slight wiggle on the end look like?

I've managed to get all my turbo bolts tight bar the lower front one.

6" extenstions with uni joints on them in both 1/4" & 3/8" drives but both to no avail.

I just can't seem to angle them up properly to get to that damn lower front nut.

Can anyone here guide / help me?
