Still awaiting the tank to show up, it was sent from Sydney 7 days ago via Oz post, but due to Cairns being on the other side of the globe from Sydney it still hasnt arrived.... All the fuel lines have been run, so as soon as the tank gets here I can mount it and connect the fuel lines and fire it up!All the mounting bolts/screws for the fuel pump have also been loctited, that's the last thing I want to fall off the car..... Hopefully these exhaust hanger rubber mounts should keep the pump quiet? Edited 08/03/08 09:10 AM by hanra

Ive only kicked it to on to prime the tank then hooked up the bosch and hit the key to on again to confirm operation. Havnt started it yet, bit late at night for that.... Ill fire it up tomorrow, but ive gotta wait until it stops raining till I can take it for a drive. Would like to go for a blocky with the tray liner out to confirm there is no leaks. Little bit more expensive then I had initially planned, little more work then expected and it tool a bit longer then expected to....!

Good effort mate....Them rubber mounts are the don,Still worked out a fair bit cheaper the a pw tank considering youve done all that for under the cost of one and you have it with a pump and fittings id be cheerin!!! In the cabin I cant hear the pump what so ever. It turned out a few hundred dollars cheaper then the PW unit. So that's ok, I guess.

The rubber mounts have done a good job of keeping the pump quiet, I cant hear it at all. When I was idling in the carport after the drive, with the stereo off I can just hear a slight slight buzz from the pump. Its a tight squeeze to get it in as it is. But with what ive done I seriously can not hear the pump what so ever, unless im idling in the garage with the stereo turned off. Then I can hear the faintest buzz.
