The xforce one sounds unreal on idle. Very lumpy. But it seems to be good under gas, doesnt get too loud or droney. I didnt want to make an ass of myself with a ridiculously loud exhaust. If you want something with a nice deep note, that has good mufflers that work (I.E No droning or ridiculous volume levels) I rekon any twin 2.5" system with two mufflers will work fine. The xforce system has been well worth the money

Xforce actually now sell their range of highflows as "race use only" which on the street makes them illegal. Are their bodys spun or presssed body these are all questions u should be asking if you want a decent cat Pipe size plays an important part in the flow of the cat, But really is this as important as what the cat actually flows eg the CPI (cells per inch) of the cat . the less holes means the bigger they are which means less restriction, do manufacturers over rate thir cfm's of the cat . you bet ya they do Anyway, never just take someones advice because he tells you "This is the best one mate" and iv been using it for agesSorry iv had my whinge for the night Edited 07/03/08 11:45 AM by redghia

If anyone wants to know the place give me a PM. The shop who did mine can do a full system to your request.

Mercurysteve Member 18 Member For: 16y 11m 16d Posted 08/03/08 06:10 AM Author Share Posted 08/03/08 06:10 AM o.k, so where is Melb is a good place for a "decent" cat back system? Cat through 3.5 to the rear keeping factory tip? any first hand experience or recommendations?I am sure Xforce is good and I hear you on the product backup, I have emailed the guys on ebay and had no response for a few days now. That means nothing I know, I am sure they are great. Just makes me think that I would rather see/meet the people who sell it and get them to fit it off, locally if anyone feels a particular shop is a goodie. JA2473 Member 62 Member For: 16y 11m 13d Gender: Male Posted 06/04/08 10:20 PM Share Posted 06/04/08 10:20 PM I had fitted a 3inch system to my XRT and at 13psi I was getting 290rwkw. As I was not very happy with that I then had a full 3.5 inch sytem fitted and re tuned by same shop. They took 2 deg of timing out and lowered boost to 11psi and gave me 321rwkw. So I got 31kw increase and a safer tune.. the 3.5 sounds great but the most important thing should be the exhaust flow.A 3 inch system will flow basiclly the same a twin2.5. 3.5 inch full system supplied and fitted for 1k.hope this helps..
