Yeah I like the tough lumpiness. The xforce one sounds unreal on idle. Very lumpy. But it seems to be good under gas, doesnt get too loud or droney. I didnt want to make an ass of myself with a ridiculously loud exhaust. If you want something with a nice deep note, that has good mufflers that work (I.E No droning or ridiculous volume levels) I rekon any twin 2.5" system with two mufflers will work fine. The xforce system has been well worth the money :)

Personally I would give xforce a miss, I mean their distributers dont even give a warranty , and I believe if they really supported their product then this is a must

As with most things its the promo work that makes the Hype, Its not that they are a bad system its just that there are better options for less cost

Take their cats for instance,I wonder how many people realise that xforce say their may flow a little more than an equal competitiors product but the gasses are actually flowing around the outside of the core therefore do not meet any emissions regulations. Xforce actually now sell their range of highflows as "race use only" which on the street makes them illegal. Are their bodys spun or presssed body these are all questions u should be asking if you want a decent cat

Pipe size plays an important part in the flow of the cat, But really is this as important as what the cat actually flows eg the CPI (cells per inch) of the cat . the less holes means the bigger they are which means less restriction, do manufacturers over rate thir cfm's of the cat . you bet ya they do

Anyway, never just take someones advice because he tells you "This is the best one mate" and iv been using it for ages

Sorry iv had my whinge for the night

ok, for the guys in sydney, I paid less than $500 for my dual 2.5" system cat back, it sounds tuff as and flows well with one muffler and hot dogs at the back. If anyone wants to know the place give me a PM. The shop who did mine can do a full system to your request.

Dunno about you guys but I just love the sound of this blue T.

Hoping mine will sound as good 1 day.

That "Blue T" does sound pretty hot! It would be good to find out what he's got there.

o.k, so where is Melb is a good place for a "decent" cat back system? Cat through 3.5 to the rear keeping factory tip? any first hand experience or recommendations?

I am sure Xforce is good and I hear you on the product backup, I have emailed the guys on ebay and had no response for a few days now. That means nothing I know, I am sure they are great. Just makes me think that I would rather see/meet the people who sell it and get them to fit it off, locally if anyone feels a particular shop is a goodie. Ta

Im getting Springvale Exhaust to fit mine, although I did get the exhaust from here and a metal cat from RDP.

The bloke that owns it is very helpfull & cheap too

Think he fitted my mates twin 2.5'' exhaust for 500. Was X-Force aswell.

Fitting only for $500? Damn, that's expensive. Even at a premium of $75 an hour, that's more than 6.5 hours to fit an exhaust. Ehhh, way too much.

I had fitted a 3inch system to my XRT and at 13psi I was getting 290rwkw. As I was not very happy with that I then had a full 3.5 inch sytem fitted and re tuned by same shop. They took 2 deg of timing out and lowered boost to 11psi and gave me 321rwkw. So I got 31kw increase and a safer tune.. the 3.5 sounds great but the most important thing should be the exhaust flow.

A 3 inch system will flow basiclly the same a twin2.5.

3.5 inch full system supplied and fitted for 1k.

hope this helps..
