Bad luck mate, no lecture from me, you did get caught and that is the difference between you and the other blokes lecturing you. Get a lawyer give it a go and see what happens.

Scotty

I can confidently say I have never NEVER done 140+ km/h in an 80 zone.

like the title says

last night, had my T impounded. $500 to get it out.....

f*cking cops

they think I was doing 141kmph in an 80k zone APPARENTLY

I think its bullsh*t, because I was ONLY DOING 110kmph and they were on the other side of the road and there was another car next to me. so I dont think they got an accurate reading. and how do they expect it to be accurate from 50m away doing 80kmph going the opposite direction to me, and with another car next to mine which was speeding too and driving and acting like a dick head.

which mind you they let the other person go without penalty.

I dont care about the fine, or the impound really, just worried about losing my licence when I eventually have to go to court

thoughts?

Yeah the other car was racing you as you were racing it, and youve already admitted to all of us you were still travelling well over the speed limit. You were street racing and all youve done is come on here to cry about your stupidity and seek a bunch of sympathy that you might get from the WRX website.

And by the way, sucked in!

I.B.

* engaging in an unauthorised race or speed trial on a road or spaces near a road that are open to the public

This could have been what pushed the boys in blue to take the action they did.

Straight from the Austrlian Road Rules but he claims he was stopped for speeding.
