There are consequences for speeding these days. Unfortunately you have to live and deal with what ever consequences your are dealt. The only advice I can give you for when you go to court, is get hold of a lawyer and get them to provide you with a good affadavit form to fill out. Furthermore, accept the blame for what you've done, but provide good reason for why you still need your license. I booked myself in for a defensive driving course before I went to court as well, this helped me look a little better in the eyes of the judge. I would say they are correct in the speed they posted unless you are willing to dispute it.$500 consider yourself lucky that's all you have to deal with. To come on here and bag the police for doing thier job when you were the one breaking the law makes you look pretty silly.None of us are perfect but as others have said mate, cop it on the chin, pay the fine and walk for 6 months or so and be glad you didn't kill or injure anyone. Look at this one as a lesson and learn from it. No sympathy here. There is a time and a place.
