Is it very hard to take the dump pipe out? I can see u take five bolts off and replace the gasket and maybe two bolts on the exhuast end

So yeh take the 5 bolts off on the rear housing then there is 2 support brackets attached to the stock dump and the undo it by the cat area and just remove the hole section. Then the actuator is clear .

But saying that ive managed to get the clip back on with everything intact b4 from above and just wrapped my arm under the turbo pain in the butt but have done it

Hi all. How do you remove the heat shield over the engine mount? (with turbo in place) Not sure if some sort of clip? Pulling turbo and manifold off as one but need shield off to remove remaining rear support bracket bolt grr.

I think most people remove the bottom studs from the manifold, no need to take the bracket/support off then. From memory(all bad !) the heat shield is held on with a clip similar to those used to retain wheels on axles (on toy bikes etc) ,force it off or should unscrew if you can access it. I lost the plot and ripped the crap out of the heat shield , should have enquired about the price first, ended up removing the studs anyway.

Hey guys, finally got around to taking my turbo off to replace it and have come up against an issue getting it off! It doesn't have regular bolts from the exhaust it's got studs the same as the manifold/turbo ones and have managed to get the nuts off but because of the studs being in both sides I can't maneuver the turbo out, is there an easier way to get this sorted without cutting them? :S

Two nuts on the dump side back on the studs, tighten then into each other then use the nut that would be closest to the dump flange base to wind out the stud and two nuts still attached
