Surely this has been asked on here or is already a well known fact but just wondering what the actual measurements relate to on the stock F6 boost guage? Just looking at pics of the new F6 and its gauge is marked 0 to 1 bar so I am guessing that is what the BF one is. Also the specs from FPV say that the F6 runs 0.64 bar of peak boost and my guage reads somewhere between half and three quarters I think on the guage under load so that sounds about right as well. Thanks guys.

Yeah, the stock guages are sh*t. I've still got mine, just waiting for some autometer guages to go in.

When mine was stock at full boost they used to go up to about halfway or just over... Whatever that means...

But after getting it tuned it boosts right off the scale now. So who knows what the f#%K is going on.

Rip 'em out and throw some decent ones in there. that's what I'm gonna do.

I know It's an old post though.. you've probably already sold the car.

For the FG F6 the boost gauge can be read as follows

Boost (Bar) - Pointer Angle (deg)

0.0 - 0 (+/-3)

0.1 - 12 (+/-3)

0.2 - 24 (+/-3)

0.3 - 36 (+/-3)

0.4 - 48 (+/-3)

0.5 - 60 (+/-3)

0.6 - 72 (+/-3)

0.7 - 84 (+/-3)

0.8 - 96 (+/-3)

0.9 - 108 (+/-3)

1.0 - 120 (+/-3)

Peak boost for the FG XR6T is 10psi, F6 is around 13psi (I think).

You'd get a better reading from a wind chime and pressure cooker valve....

Mine runs standard XR6T boost and works perfect..

Its cool, the over-boost function gets it to peak a little higher than normal sometimes when it first comes on, but usually sits just over half way under load. I have no reason to believe mine is inaccurate, although if its anything like an AU gauge the reading is "proof read" by the ECU first, so a tune might do funny things!
