Also how much will I roughly be looking at spending? I am from Melbourne. Guest newl Guests Posted 28/02/08 04:36 AM Share Posted 28/02/08 04:36 AM I was quoted ~$350ish for an install. I saved the money and did it myself. I am from Melbourne.Mate I had a friend of mine install them who is a mechanic although if you havent got any exprience in that field I would just pay someone the couple of hundred dollars. Taking the ICC out and removing all those gaurds and what not to get behind the firewall to get the wiring through is a ball breaker. If I had the choice again id pay the money hands down to have made it some body esles problem!=) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43058-where-to-install-gauges/#findComment-639422 Share on other sites

They look sensational.I've got the tripod, now all I need is someone in Melbourne to install them.Is it worth just ringing local auto elecs to see who would/can do it? Does anyone have any recommendations for auto elecs in east/south east melbourne?Cheers. I got a whole new ICC out of it all but. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43058-where-to-install-gauges/#findComment-639504 Share on other sites

No one would do it for $100!Removing the ICC isn't a difficult task. I can have one out in 5 minutes.
