Guest Guests Posted 27/02/08 02:25 AM Share Posted 27/02/08 02:25 AM I remember reading a similar topic last year so you might want to try the search function From memory, there were little gains to be had but there definitely was improvement. There are lots better 'bang for your buck' mods out there for the NA so just do a bit of research.Good luck with it

Go for it!

They are designed in a way to have a variable intake length which improves low down torque. Installing a plenum like the ones you see designed for the turbo would not be an improvement down low. Might find it becomes very doey. If you've got a variable intake design that's better than factory then go for it.
Guest Guests Posted 27/02/08 09:45 AM Share Posted 27/02/08 09:45 AM (edited) Its been done dude, not much gain to be had, theres a mate on Ford Forums who built a twin Throttle body set up and says he got a heap on extra power out of it.Try calling Ford and asking when the new falcons parts will be ready for ordering. You never know the new intake maybe a bolt on and it could be cheap, you never know till you ask???Have you done any other mods yet? The only way to find out is do it. Heck I might do it for fun anyway. If the plenum is done correctly there should be very good power and torque increases. It seems that people don't really know how to make them complement potential power increases from modified engines. Maybe I will give it a try for a hobby and sell them off.
