I want a job on Barrow Island. A mate of mine is a Geo and was working on Cockatoo or something. Reckons all they wanted to do was take him fishing. 2hrs later he was whinging about sore arms and being bored!

Is kite surfing hard to learn?

I body boarded during my early teenage years but cars and girls got in the way of that!

yer the alkimos is good went out there a few times with my coach from life saving, go to little island all the time on ski's and our boards, a lot easier than a surfboard to paddle haha and good when the sea breeze comes in to help us back to the club.

Kite surfing is pretty easy to learn, my mate works in green head and hes got a few kites so learnt up there, waitin 4 the new car + loan then im gettin a load of new stuff to try out.

Haaaa cyclops, bugger that!!! This is some of the biggest surf I've experienced (back in 2000)! Bigger sets were a good 5x head and heavy would be an understatement. This unknown dude got creamed, came in after this wave lol. Guys were towing into the bigger sets. Dave Macaulay was on a mal with a video camera mounted on the front and getting some decent tubes too!!

Where is it? looks like sand/rock bottom? definately looks heavy, lip is rather thick! you can see it lining up to pitch just under that last dudes board... whos the poor c*nt on the inside copping them on the head haha.

I don't rate big surf anymore.... prefer something im comfortable in to have more fun.

I f*cked one of my boards about 1.5months ago out at Gas Bay.... pulled in and bottomed out on the reef, nearly went A over T into the barnacles managed to hold on, skimmed my knee and made it bleed but put a nice hole in my board.
