Bump and thanks for the excellent guide.

For my gauges (racetech) I needed earth, constant 12v, switched 12v (that's only on when car is running or key in acc for those who don't know) and a dimmer signal.

I used the ciggy lighter wires for earth and switched 12v, the brown wire in the foggies/TC button for dimmer, and I located a constant power on the white wire in the white plug which connects leftmost to the ICC.

Installed mine yesterday I have an after market cd player which I tapped into for the ignition 12v battery and earth then I tapped into the fog light for the lights only prob now is that the cd player don't work :( and a fog light is out but I'll try and figure out what's wrong when I get home from work this arvo.

After installing my boost gauge I found that I'm not hitting 5 pound boost it's around 2.5 - 3 pound boost is that norm and when I change gears it's spikes don't know if it is because it's a vacuum & boost or not

Your boost controller isnt set up right mate..

The tubing for the boost has probably pinched on the icc or the shroud around the firewall..

And with regards to your cd player, I would run it to your ciggerette lighter as its the easiest..

Let me know if you need some help champ.. :censored:

Just to let you know the ZF does spike boost pressures on gear change. Here's a Log I recorded:

RPMandPSI1stto3rdgear.png

That was stock as a rock. It's a bit of a worry now that I'm modified, haven't recorded the spike with 300+rwkw! There's relief valves available to bleed the excess boost on changes though.

Ok sweet as I was always under the impresion that it's bad for the tubo to spike thaw why I thought it was a major issue as I basically know bugger all about turbos.

What the psi narmally on az mine in 1st gear it's 2.5 and from 2 gear onwards is 5 I thought thy having an x chaser that it would of had a slight more than stock or do they return them to stock when sold?

I have figured out the wiring after having a dummy spit and a few beers lol
