Altrex Protective Film

Seen this stuff at Rice Barn the other day. Was thinking it mite be worth giving it a try on my 1800klm round trip to get my car tuned. Its a clear film that should stop some stones chips and most bug splats! Im pretty sure 3M make a similar product but its quite expensive. I think this was about $50 at Rice Barn.

Mite look a bit better then my last effort. But hey it certainly did the job!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read of thses films before, though have never had any solid reports to justify their use.

Interested to read if anyone has actually used this stuff before.

I use it on my fog lights and had it on for ages. It hasnt dis coloured and I havent had one of the lights smash

I did read they dont recommend it for use on driving lights. I guess it dosnt like a lot of heat?

If you never really use your fog lights then you could keep it on there forever, just to help prevent chips I guess.
