Good luck R Spec. You will wait a long time from Ford.

Because I'm a Falcon nut, as with all my F6s, I tried to buy a BF Falcon badge to put on the boot above the FPV one today. Over here in WA WA land none available for a week :pooh:

You can badge them any way you want but they are really only sooped taxis, although at least the soop is good (mine broke traction under WOT and went sideways at 120 kph today, near crapped myself).

I came to the taxi conclusion when I saw the front wheel movement under hard braking from the crap standard XT fluid filled lower control arm bushes they fitted into the F6s, not to mention the pathetic diff bushes, even weaker in the BF than the BA, and the pissy sway bars and the crap brakes in the non $6K Brembo optioned BAs. :sofa:

I take it that your not happy then

:slap:

Check with FPV as it appears that they are now standard fitment, which I personally think was overdue.

I haven't been able to get an answer yet anyway, so sorry for those who are waiting.

James

I asked 3 of the FPV peeps at the motor show about the badges and they all said I'd have to wait until they are released.

If you ask me, they knew absolutely f*ck all about the cars and were just there to take comments. Great job there FPV. Thanks for the insight!

All easily fixed.........spend 15k on the purchase price of an F6 and there is nothing that comes close for the money.

Wait another month or two, and head to a good panel shop and ask them to order some for you!

I got Suby badges through a Suby backed Panel shop a few years back for my GT, and the GT badges from Suby in Singapore... cost me sh*t loads... :(

Amazing what you can get from the local panel shop - become mates with them and ull prob get mates rates!!!

You might be able to get them as spare parts when the new FPV is out next month or whenever... They are 'meant' to be badged FPV rather then Ford...

:)

We're all assuming that the size of the new FPV badges are the same size as the Ford ones...

Plus knowing the way car manufacturers operate.... they will have different tabs and crap sticking out the back which will only fit into the new FG models. This could be easily cut/modified though if that's the case.
