The pumps are not just in F6, they are in XR6T's as well, so its not just an issue for FPV, and I have voiced my concern directly to Ford Motor Co. through Ford CRC. I asked if it would be a recall on all BFmKIIs and they said no, as it is only a small percentage of cars affected. They have stated it is not all pumps, it was a batch issue, not even affecting all pumps in that batch, but are replacing them when a problem occurs. Bit concerning but I haven't driven my Rspec under 35 degrees C yet. So fricken hot up here. Mine will probably bloody freeze up or something in the winter LOL

Thank god it failed for Ford and they found that the fuel pressure dropped and cut out just like all the other reports, meaning a faulty fuel pump.Getting changed in the morning as they need to courier a new one in.Thanks Paul for the good advice. My dealer rang your dealer and they undertook the same test and found the same problem. They tell me that the pump is off to Ford HQ to analysis.Cheers

Now its up to Ford.Maybe the more people call Ford CRC with fault complaints, the more likely they are to be forced to recall.

I told them that they found the faulty fuel pump and FPV advised that it is a Ford issue, however were going to look into the problem with Ford.Like F6Rdodgnroos they ran my car all day yesterday and left the tank empty. The good thing is the Trouble and Strife returned the courtsey car (Fairmont Ghia) empty as well. Got one back.Cheers
