Hi Guys,

I have just go my new laptop, its a toshbia Qosimo F40 with Vista install,

I have tuning software for my other car that i ran in xp with no problems. When i try to run the setup program it tells me i need to download .Net 1.1.4322 which i have done and it still wont run the setup program.

I still get the same dialog box telling me i need to run the program in .Net 1.1.4322,

I have copied the program for my PC to the laptop and can open then program but cannot connect to the ecu in the car. Im using a serial to usb convertor and when i plug the ecu in and power it up it tells me the port (coms 4 ) is already in use.

I have tried changing the compatibility mode from vista to every other option but this hasn't help.

im trying to run this program: can anybody offer me an assitance?

cheers

Luke

Edit, can upload the file to this site. If anybody wants to help pm me an email address and i will send the file....thanks..

I dont have that option unfortunalty. The only way i can avoid running this software in vista is to drag my XP home pc outside everytime i want to make and adjustment to the car, a tad unpractical.

Its easy to say dont use vista but when you have a 1 day old laptop you dont really have much of a choice.....
