Very similar thoughts and observations to what I had when I first got my T. You'll love Clyde Mtn, especially the trip back up!

No need to even do the shuffle yourself at times as the kickdown is very fast and because the turbo is puffing at such low RPM, lag is virtually non existant. If you're in one of those cols southern states, just wait till you feel the difference on a cold foggy morning. (Lots of cold dense air which is the friend of forced induction)I can predict exactley what you'll say.......Faaaarrrrr......!!!!Enjoy.... Mackthe.... Varies from car to car of course.
Guest Mac_Dude Guests Posted 13/07/03 05:33 AM Share Posted 13/07/03 05:33 AM I forgot to tell you that I can't get my car into the garage You see I have a steep drive way and because the xr6 is 2" lower than the standard car , it will scrap. I will be making up some metal ramps this w/end  Brent Nice story Brent. I have ages to wait and it's great to hear when folks pick up their new car.I too have a steepish driveway. Where the driveway angles up from the kerb is my biggest problem. When I was test driving the T I drove it home to see how it would go up the drive. about 2 cm clearance with one adult in the back. I find if I start to turn as I come to the 'angled' part of the drive the clearance is even better than approaching it dead on.Anyway, congrats!
