Apparently the bottom bolt that holds the headlight to the body wasn't even there! Lazy ford/fpv f*cks! I wonder what other bolts are missing . . . . . . . . . .SCARY! The bloke said that they also moved the IC piping about 4mm down to make sure it clears the headlight.

ALL THE SAME!!!Looks like a common problem, which looks like it lies with the headlight... fingers crossed its a quick fix and they mentioned as 4 of their cars on the showroom floor are all the same, the GM will be calling Ford and having a chat! (have built a nice little rapport with the GM over the past few weeks) hehehe

Looks like a new, not well trained, headlight and bumper fitter must have been put on the production line halfway through the build. The service and the sales manager at Titans checked about 20 new BFs with me the other day and all were fine, so is the Silhouette we bought, you gotta really look to find it but it's a pisser when you know it's there, especially when you think it should have been picked up when they lined up the light beams. I'm off to London on Tuesday so they have it for 10 days. Edited 08/03/08 12:56 PM by hypnodoc

Hopefully I am happy with mine when I get it back. I must remember to get them to realign the headlight beams before I pick it up.

I haven't had a close up look to make sure they haven't left off any of the little scrivets that are under the wheel arches or anything like that but as far as the headlight goes it is all good! Very happy with the car now as I can finally stop worrying about it and just enjoy it. My dealer has been pretty good about it all and it was all done under warranty so I haven't paid a cent. When I take the car in for the 3000km inspection I am getting them to replace the centre console lid as well as mine has a small bump under the leather but they were happy to do that as well.I can't believe how fast these cars accelerate especially for a six. These things modified must be damn scary to drive. It's just awesome how you can loose traction with the traction control on without really trying they must be interesting in the wet. First time it scared the hell out of me as I wasn't expecting it. 333 went hard but it never did that . Hopefully when I get back from this cold foggy London place next week my H/Light will be all fixed up. As a speed comparo I was (a passenger) watching TV in the back seat of a Merc S500 doing 140 MPH down the M1 on cruise control in the rain about 2 hours ago, it was whisper quiet and felt like it was doing about 60. Now that is car, even it it does cost 5 times more than an R Spec Oh well maybe one day Edited 20/03/08 03:53 PM by Dagabond

Auto or manual? I haven't really pushed mine to hard just yet but it can loose traction pretty easy but don't know about at 100. Would be awesome though. I haven't really driven it in weather under 32 degrees yet which will make a difference. When I was picking up my car they had a GT Cobra in the show room and it had the same headlight problem.EDIT: Just realised that your car isn't stock. Now it all makes sense! Thought I might have had a dud there for a second. Edited 20/03/08 03:54 PM by Dagabond
