There's really not that many changes between the models to warrant worrying about any bugs arising from it being a 'new model' anyway...

95% of the changes are cosmetic not mechanical....

Yeah but I was/still might be getting the 05 model and they where alot better.

But yeah the FG 100%, my T might be going to the miss's or sell it for the explorer.

still as I said the utes are tuff, your a ute man dags do you like the new ute?

Well finally im back from my stupid BAN, and I can post this to you greeny your new fg ute needs to grow on me a little more, I think there is way too much plastic crap at the front of them. at the moment I like the ba/bf better. wait till I see them on the road to make up my mind

Untill then I'll stick with what I've got...

I still have 2 years of extended warranty on mine so I will hold on until the new V6 version is out also.

The turbo version overseas in the Lincon is 300KW plus.

The GT-E (replaces the Force models) looks a lot better than the other FPV's since they don't have the stupid grey bits under the headlights.

Interesting that the extra power for the I6 N/A and V8 come from increasing the rev limit more than anything.

The FG XR's look nice but from an XR6T perspective I'm happy I've gone for the BF2.

please excuse my noob question why is everyone going to wait for the mkII? Is there generally that much bugs with the new released models? How long normally till they release the mkII?

(it may of already been answered I havent read through the 11 pages)

most people will wait for mk2 just in case there are problems, and the fact that it will work better with their finance/lease arrangements.

Personally I don't think there will be many issues with this falcon, the technology we are using is basically just developed from what we already had, or being used in other ford family vehicles (either here or in Europe)

The fit and finish will be better because of the single stamp side panels too.

You don't spend around 800 million dollars to turn out a dud when your company needs a saviour!

There is no consensus on if there will be a MKii or it will be a new model, 2010 is when the falcon gets the V6 so I would say it will be then.

as for issues they will only be found out after the car has been driven for awhile, so been the first to buy is a step into the unknown.
