pat: many issues with selling interstate?

Not really mate, the only thing is an out of state dealer can't register the car for you, they can only give you an interim permit so you can get it back to your state and then pay all on-roads there

....or register it in the state of sale, then transfer to your own state and get a reimbursement for unused rego from the origin state

that would be a good idea, but you can't register the car unless you have a residence in that state, or you have a customer number - and by the time you do that, you could've driven home and paid less there - NSW for example is the most expensive place to register a car in Australia.

we can do that - its called "delivery on behalf-of" - the down side is that the end dealer will charge the other dealer to do it, and I'm talking around $950 not just a couple of dollars. Whether the trouble is worth it, that's debatable, because the cost will be passed onto the customer

So, pretty much the same shizen we do with trucks sold interstate...

(without the 2.5k we have to pay to the dealer who's PMA it is in... :ky: )

you just like thinking of me in a skirt and panties you dirty bastard!

I would put the Fleet pricing up, but it varies soo much its hard to be accurate, if everyone speaks to their fleet manager they will be able to help - that and the fact that I sell retail, not National Fleet gear
