I was extremely lucky to get mine.

I orginally wanted to get a late '07 plate car as they have a $2k discount. None were available so a car build allocated to a Ford executive was secured for me. Customers get preference over employees.

It's silk, with that new body kit, the 18's, dual zone and the ZF etc etc.

The FG would of been nice but a FG would of cost a heap more. The BF MkII is pretty well sorted anyway so I'm looking forward to trouble free motoring (hopefully).

the whole front is wrong.

The extra bumps and lines and crap, looks like it's a crack ho re with anorexia from the front. The b series is tuff from the front, aggressive like a pitbull about to fu(k you up. And those nice tr magna door handles?????? NOT

Silk is a lighter version of Mercury Silver. I didn't notice the hint of blue through it as the car I looked at was in the shade.

I think it should look good with the new body kit and wheels.

I applaud Ford for limiting production - it will certainly help a bit with resale value of the BF/BA without there being the usual amount of discounted cars flooding the market. Not sure if that was their intention or not, but it's a good thing.

Ford made it a point that they will only build to demand, not build too many where they will be forced to cut prices on them.
