seems with fords history of adding heaps of extras with the mk2 and peoples experinces with new model mk1 falcons a lot of people will be waiting for the mk2.

we all dont want to get the old ford excuse(yes mate that's in spec).

I will be waiting for the mk2 phoon.

I think the F6 is ugly. Wont be getting an upgraded turbo - would rather spend the money on making a better car myself - 400rwkw, some exterior mods, brakes and I would be happy. Might get the next major release - or not.

I'll be waiting for the run out of the mk 1 to get the last aussie f6 as I dont trust the yank 6.

Well, I'm doing something different...

I'm using all this FG stuff to spin a good deal on a new BF MkII.

I'd love a FG but if I can save $6000-7000 on a BF I'll be happy.

GE6 Turbo, full luxo barge, with powah!

More and more people will go to GE6t and move away from the XR6t... Had the BA/F range had a fairmont ghia turbo I would have snapped one up, awesome work Ford, cant wait!

As much as I want 1 now, I'm waiting for the twin turbo V6, because I'm ready for a change, and I reckon it'll be even better in the long run in terms of modding/power

I just find it pointless getting the exact same engine with a few different plastic bits on the body/exterior

I think my next car if it is a FPV would be a GT in manual.

I have always wanted to have a manual V8 that revs like the Boss.

Fod have done a good job on the new FG, but I think it is evident that many of us have been burnt by the BA1 and its faults.

We have all learnt to wait for the Mk2.
