Yeah the power cable is connected to the battery and the remote wire is connected to the fuse box and earth is wired into the body just like a normal amp.

I've never seen the stock 150w amp, wouldn't know where to look? It's probably under the parcel shelf.

Hey R-Spec,

Stock amp could be in a few places.... In my GT the McIntosh is under the passenger seat.

It could be under one of the seats, or behind the dash, or shelf as you mentioned, I would be surprised if its 'not' even not a 'built in' setup rather then a real external amp.... that's my guess...

The standard amp is in the boot, on the left hand side under the boot lining panel , look for the big lump... it's a sanyo I think from memory (I looked a couple of weeks ago)

I have an Ipod Classic plugged into my ICC it goes via a charger adaptor thing that plugs into the ciggy lighter socket, only thing is the volume is only controllable via the ICC and steering wheel of course.....

Is anyone using an Apple iTouch in the Rspec? Now that the 32GB's out I'm thinking I might get one.

Just to clarify you can only change songs by using the IPOD, etc - right? The steering wheel / ICC only lets you change the volume?

Ta.
