So many clever changes to the engines, body and interior and the new Human Machine Interface which allows a whole new degree of interior options. Excellent work. Posted 17/02/08 09:38 AM Share Posted 17/02/08 09:38 AM Too right about the G6ET...... that Mondeo-ish look dropped on a set of nice 19's with a warm over and you've got moonshot luxury in full leather.Mmmmmmmm....... I am getting older....... (Tab. No need for a reply.)

Posted 17/02/08 10:02 AM Share Posted 17/02/08 10:02 AM Very interesting doing a head to head of the centre console GUI and switching mechanisms between the VE and FG. Ford have relied on simplicity and common sense in their review, building on some BMW idea's (looks like stacked menu's) and existing BF premium switching (rocker action). FG continues to maintain excellent compenent interaction without removing your hands from the wheel - unlike the GMH product.So. Quite a yawning gap now..... expect some sort of revision from Expensive Daewoo in the next update; they have no choice. Their combination of dials, slides, rockers and heaven knows what is an uncoordinated disaster.

In 18 months it is going to look dated, l hope l am wrong on this when l see the cars in the flesh but at the moment Seems like some impressive technology has gone into the engine and new gearbox. Not too fussed on the ICC, looks cheap and tacky, could just be the colours in the photos.Zap, l agree there are a few ommissions that l would expect these days as you have listed, l guess time will tellCheers Mondie
