if you take a look at the specs on-line, it says the G6E Turbo doesn't have the LSD as standard and there is no option for it, and I can't remember if the auto has launch control or not, but the G6E is Auto only

This is my point exactly!!!! It clearly states that LSD's are for XR6T & XR8!!!! WTF......

Launch control is also only for the Manuals, I am sure the 6GE-T is only in manual if I read the specs correctly.

Im not that worried about the launch control because I agree its a luxury pack but.....

No LSD :kissmy:

Also had a look on the list & there is no oil cooler options for the G6E.

Like the old Fairmonts which didn't have an LSD I doubt the new one will either. I think this is due to the traction control system that is used. I think it's a four channel system which will allow abs to be applied to each rear wheel independantly to prevent loss of traction.

Just my thoughts.

the traction and stability control is standard throughout the range, including the vehicles equipped with LSD's, so it can't be that - maybe it is so that the driveline is smoother, as LSD's tend to be a little more "shunty"
